Your smile starts with a complimentary examination appointment
This first visit is about teaching and learning. You teach us about your concerns and goals. We will show you what is possible with well-designed, modern care. We usually make diagnostic photos and a panoramic X-ray at this visit in order to have adequate information.
We will be able to answer most of your questions about treatment alternatives, time required, and cost when the problems and goals are straightforward. More involved problems require more information and a little more time before all questions can be answered. That is what the records appointment and pretreatment conference are about.
Completion of records and pretreatment conference
You’re one step closer to achieving the smile you’ve always wanted! After your examination, we can often complete your diagnostic records, which include some X-rays and models of your teeth. Dr. Bruno may want to spend some time with your records or share them with your dentist. An additional appointment can be scheduled at your discretion to review the findings and recommendations before deciding on a particular alternative.
Scheduling Treatment Appointments
Frequency of orthodontic visits can vary between four and ten weeks. Our practice will work with you to make sure your appointments are as convenient as possible.
Visiting the dentist during orthodontic treatment
It is very important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups during your orthodontic treatment. We will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure you receive the best possible care if extra dental care is needed during your orthodontic treatment.
