Working With Your Dentist

It is our style to work with you and your dentist in finding the very best answer.  It is important to understand that the orthodontist should be one player on your dental team but that your dentist is the team captain. In complicated cases, your dentist will be not only be consulted but will be an integral part of planning the treatment

Continue with your regular schedule of cleanings and examinations by your dentist throughout the course of the treatment.  If there has been a history of decay or gum problems, we may request the interval between dental visits be shorter.

There may be occasion to ask for special procedures from your dentist or from other dental specialists to help us with your care.
