Have you heard of a Give Kids a Smile Day? It's one that Dr. Bruno is happy to give his time and dental expertise to, and we're excited to share a little information with you!
Give Kids a Smile Day is a national event held via the American Dental Association once a year, the first week of February. This year's was held on Febrary 8th, and Dr. Bruno was happy to be in attendance.
The event is a special one because if gives dental providers the opportunity to give back to kids in their community - offering preventative and restorative dental treatment for uninsured children ages 1 to 19. Oral health is also taught - dentists like Dr. Bruno teach the basics, for instance how to brush and floss!
Dr. Erik Roos, another dentist in Chico, has held the event in his office for 10 years. This year about 15 other dentists contributed, including our very own Dr. Bruno. Around 80 children were in attendance at the event, resulting in over $25,000 of dental care!
We are proud to be a member of the Chico community, and will do everything possible to continue to serve!
